Welcome to a tour of Greenfylde School
Wheelchair users will find a bellpush by the front door. Please ring this and staff will help you as soon as we can.
The school has done a great deal of work in recent years to improve access for persons with a disability. We wish the school to be as open and inclusive as possible.
We are fortunate to have such a lovely large site in the heart of the town. The building used to be Ilminster Boys' Grammar School and is very attractive.
The school has no parking facilities unfortunately, and visitors will need to use the public car park at the rear of the school (off Canal Way). The gates into the school are locked during the school day, for security reasons, and visitors will need to walk around to Silver Street and the front entrance.
Most children bring packed lunches to school. However, cooked school meals are available. please ask at the school for details. These meals are cooked at swanmead School and brought down daily.
Collective Worship (often referred to as Assembly) is a special time daily when we get together in a group and consider things that are of importance to us. As a Church of England School, our Collective Worships are based around the church year and the Christain faith. We do a lot of work on other faiths and beliefs as well however.
