7 Dec 2007 - Christmas Tree Festival

The school put a tree in to the Christmas tree Festival at the Minster this week. The work of Year 1 and Year 2 pupils, the tree was themed 'Children Around The World. The pupils were helped by Mrs Pym and Mrs Jones.

The charity associated with our tree was Oxfam Unwrapped. We hope to collect enough to buy some school meals for needy children, or to pay for some teacher training.

Altogether there were around 20 trees by local organisations or businesses. The school is pleased to be a part of the exhibition and hope to participate again in years to come.
