It brings back so many memories looking at this site. I used to go to the school and im 17 now and at s.c.a.t college doing an art diploma. It was here that i found my love of art and have loved it ever since. An amazing school, and the teachers really do put in extra encouragement than any other.

Hello! I'm not sure if you remember me...it's been what, ten years? Almost eleven? I'm in college now--Willamette University in Salem, OR, USA...but I was thinking about Greenfylde and how much I loved it and found this website and...well, here I am! Really this ought to be addressed to Mrs. Jewson, as she knew me best. Right, well, I'm off now, but if anyone wanted to drop me a line, please do!

Hello! I am sorry. I didnt put my name last time. I am the one called 'Another ex student'
Once again, Hello to all my teachers. And all the new teachers that never taught me! Hi Mr Jeffery! Lucky Students! I was lucky to go there myself. Its a perfect school. Its cosy too! You have changed a few things around. e.g. The staff room is now a pc room! And the new staff room was an old Classroom!
The most brilliant school in the country. No, World!
Keep the brilliant work up!

Another year over, and sadly for Brydee her last year at Greenfylde.
Thankyou to all the staff that had a part in teaching Brydee all she has learnt, a special thanks to Mrs Williams and Mrs Pym for every thing they did with Brydee in her last year there.
If any one is veiwing this site and wondering if this school is the right one for their child, I would highly recommend it. With all the new allterations happening over the summer holidays it can only get better than it already is.
I shall miss everyone and everything about Greenfylde and can only hope Brydee and I enjoy Swanmead as much as we have the last 5 years of this school.
Brydee wanted me to say how much she loved having Kelly Andrews do her work experience with the year fours, and we hope she goes on to have a career working with children as her way with Brydee was brilliant.
So goodluck to all the new reception children starting in September (you will love it here!) and all the best to all the year fives starting at Swanmead.
Thankyou

We thoughly enjoyed both the school and the Ilminster Town Carol Service which the pupils from Greenfylde singing club perfomed. All the children should be very proud of themselves and are a credit to the school. Well done to you all!

Thank you for a truly moving leavers service last week,I came prepared with tissues, thank goodness. The childrens singing,Mrs. Williams's poem and the individual memories read out, were all very emotional. I felt incredibly proud to have been there, and equally proud to have had twelve years involvement with Greenfylde. Thank you for helping to give my children a great start to their education,we'll definately be back to visit!

We were very impressed by the ICT suite, and were pleased when we saw an eight year old under taking all kinds of tasks on the computer. Hopefully the information and technology experience will help all your pupils in the future, we know it will definitley help our daughter. Many thanks.

I loved being at Greenfylde.
I'd much rather be back with Mrs Dillon and Mrs Williams than swotting for exams, even if there wasn't an ICT suite in my time. It is great fun to search the site and see what's going on.

I am an old student of Greenfylde and it is a nice school. The things I liked doing were History, P.E and Maths. My favourite project was working on Celts. Even though I have left I still see the school quite a lot as my Mum works there. I wish I could come back because I enjoyed it so much.

I was there when it was Ilminster Boys Grammar School between 1965 and 1967 as a boarder. The school is much the same yet very different. The outside of the buildings is the same: other buildings have disappeared and the insides are very different. I enjoyed a trip of reminiscence and thanks to the staff there who were preparing for the coming school year.

Really great site. Lovely to be able to see photos of the children especially if unable to attend for some reason. Handy to be able to tell grandparents about it and to be able to share photos and experiences of the children. Hope it takes off.
Also is a good shop window for anybody interested in the school and needing information.
Brilliant!
